U.S. Embassy-Sponsored English Language Teaching Seminar in Yaounde – September 28 – 30

The U.S. Embassy in Cameroon, in partnership with the Yaounde Pilot Linguistic Center, is organizing a seminar for English language teachers on the theme “Teaching English with Online Tools.”

The seminar, which is open to teachers from the Center, South, and East regions, will take place in CLAC Mimboman from September 28 – 30, 2016, and will focus on how to effectively use web-based tools in enhancing learners’ English language skills and abilities. Training modules include: Creating an academic blog, project-based learning with webquest; Using an LMS for online or blended learning: Schoology and Nicenet; differentiated instruction; social networking in English language teaching.

Participation is free but the number of participants is limited.
