Message for U.S. Citizens – Reopening of all American Citizen Services (appointment only) – U.S. Embassy Yaoundé, Cameroon
Location: Cameroon
The U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé is now accepting appointments for all American Citizen Services. Whether you need to renew your U.S. passport, register a U.S. citizen birth or death, or notarize a document, please visit our webpage at https://cm.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/ to schedule an appointment. We are not able to accept walk-in appointments.
Registering to vote and submitting a ballot is fast, easy, and can be done from anywhere in the world! Please check out the overseas citizen voter information on FVAP.gov as soon as possible. Deadlines for registering and submitting ballots, especially from overseas, are fast approaching. If you need assistance in submitting your ballot or have questions about the overseas voting process that are not answered on FVAP.gov, please contact us at YaoundeACS@state.gov.
The U.S. Embassy will mail your ballot and registration request free of charge. Once you have completed your ballot according to your state’s regulations, place it in a sealed envelope addressed to your voting precinct (found on FVAP.gov). Then drop the envelope in the box at the Embassy’s consular entrance during working hours and we will mail it.
Remember, your vote counts!
