On August 30, 2017, Embassy Public Affairs Officer welcomed back and presented certificates of participation to eleven Cameroonians who just returned from an International Visitors Leadership Program in the United States. During the debriefing session, participants shared the lessons learned through their various programs, as well as the positive impact they believe the U.S. experience will have on their future activities. “It was simply wonderful” a participant in the African Women Entrepreneurship Project declared. “It was great to see how media professionals and civil society actors promote and protect freedom of expression in the United States,” a representative of ACMAR Media group added.
