The U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé is selling several high-value items, including IT equipment, and furniture. Items will be sold via online auction available at https://tinyurl.com/usembassyauctionaug2023
All bidders must create an account and register online to participate in the auction. Items are available for viewing online now. Bids will be accepted beginning August 22 at 09:00. The auction will end, and winners will be announced August 24 at 12:00.
Items will be available for viewing in-person at the U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé by appointment only.
Bid price does NOT include taxes, fees, or customs duty. ALL sales are final, and items are sold AS-IS, without refund or warranty by the US government. Payment for winning bids must be made in cash (CFA) within 2 business days following the end of the auction. The winning bidder is required to pay customs duty and any related taxes to the Cameroonian authorities before removing the property from the embassy compound.
